The education system in Spain dates back to the Middle Ages.
Spain has publicly and privately owned universities organized in schools (facultades). These schools are separated into different sections, each specializing in a specific field of study (for example, business, humanities, science). The university system currently consists of 49 public universities, 14 private universities and 4 Catholic universities. Within the framework of European higher education (EHEA), Spanish universities converge in a single common system corresponding to all European universities, called the Polonga system.
The university (Grado) and postgraduate studies cover a variety of fields. Your education system offers a balance between theory and practice. Dual degrees that combine two study paths are also available. Furthermore, students are allowed to conduct flexible university studies for part-time work and participation in various cultural activities.
